A man believed to be responsible for at least $300,000 in retail theft across the metro area is now in jail facing 16 criminal charges. An elderly couple were walking to their vehicle in the mall parking lot when two male juvenile suspects allegedly approached them and grabbed their two Apple laptop computers. Two out of 9 businesses visited in Tigard on May 3 failed to pass an OLCC check for alcohol sales to minors. Starting Monday March 23rd, citations will be issued for red light violations at the intersection of Durham Road and Pacific Highway (99W) where photo traffic enforcement was recently installed. A homicide investigation is underway after two men were found dead at a Tigard hotel early this morning. Based on the evidence at the scene, Tigard Police detectives are currently working with TVF&R on a criminal investigation. Authorities have not released any other information.
